- Traveled to customer sites to manage proper installation of Topsoe products during plant turnarounds. Directed start-ups of processes containing those products. This required direction of and communication with all levels of plant personnel and plant contractors.
- Conducted process diagnostic and performance testing on-site. Generated diagnostic and performance evaluation reports based on data collected
- Performed calculations and generated technical quotations with optimal performance based on customer specifications.
- Developed new process technology and set scope of work for $3MM multi-phase project for better control and reliability of problematic alumina process. Organized and led multi-function team to complete project. Estimated saving are $2.7MM per year
- Developed and implemented process improvements that increased production rates, improved consistent quality, limited downtime due to maintenance, and decreased costs of operation for alumina process. This effort resulted in a record production month with a 15% increase over previous record and improved quality with no capital spent. Awarded first author of Albemarle Technical Award for this effort
- Developed and ran lab scale experiments to provide data necessary for process changes (see above). Based on results, industrial scale trial were run in order to permanently implement process changes
- Organized all work and produced all emissions calculations for environmental air permit renewal of FCC catalyst plant
- Acted as main plant troubleshooting support to the operations team for alumina catalyst
- Performed audit on the operation of a boiler and boiler system. Evaluated options for improved operation and recommended changes. Developed necessary hand-off documentation for plans to be implemented after departure
- Learned how to gather, organize, and communicate information, as well as operate safely in a chemical plant setting
- Used experience as top 150 collegiate triathlete and Louisiana State Champion swimmer to develop individualized training plans for competitors
- Trained all employees based on responsibilities and airtime, and ensured that broadcasting follows FCC regulations
- Scheduled all broadcasting, including but not limited to music, promos, advertisements, specialty shows
